Foundation Classes
Composition & ColorClass Description
The Foundation Art Classes are designed to be taught to beginner and intermediate students by an expert or professional in the discipline.
Foundations: Composition:
This class will teach you the rules and fundamentals of landscape painting from photography. Beginning students will learn how to look at a photograph and make it work as a small finished painting. If you are a beginning oil painter and want to understand the rules of composition with a singular process to give you some immediate success, this is the class for you.
Foundations: Color:
This class will teach you the color wheel and how to mix the colors you see in your photograph. Each of the sessions will cover one color theory and complete an abstract painting based on that theory. If you want to learn to mix better and more accurate color mixtures to eventually help you produce better paintings, this is the class for you.
